IAPA is an international community and trade association for experienced and qualified au pair organizations that specialize in providing culture exchange services.

Member organizations must meet firm business and ethical standards and in turn, agree to abide by IAPA's code of conduct, which signifies competence, fair dealing and high integrity.

IAPA is a founding sector association member of the World Youth Student & Educational (WYSE) Travel Confederation, a 530+ member organisation representing the global community of youth travel, student travel and international education specialists.

WYSE Travel Confederation was established in 2006 through the merger of the Federation of International Youth Travel Organisations (FIYTO) and the International Student Travel Confederation (ISTC).
