Annual General Meeting – AGM 2015
The 21st International Au Pair Association Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held during WETM-IAC 2015 on Tuesday, 17 March 2015 from 10:20-11:20 at the Sheraton Lisboa Hotel & Spa, Lisbon, Portugal.
36 Full Voting members were present in the room, with 14 organisations holding a proxy vote for members unable to attend.
Besides that, a good number of new members to be ratified were present as well!
During the AGM we presented an overview of our activities over the last year and we provided our outlook for the year 2015.
In addition, the Annual Accounts for 2013 were presented, as well as the preliminary results for 2014 and the budget for 2015.
The assembled membership ratified and approved our 17 new members and agreed on the members to disaffiliate.
Six longstanding members were recognised for their 10 years of membership, out of which three were present at the AGM.
Longstanding members present at the IAPA 2015 AGM:
Active Abroad & Au Pair Agentur Maria Theresia, Pebbles Agency and Cultural Homestay International (CHI).
Two seats were up for election on our Executive Board, with Michael McHugh from InterExchange stepping down after two full terms and our Treasurer Goran Rannefors’ term coming to an end as well.
We’re happy to announce our new General Board Member Linda James from Au Pair in America and Goran Rannefors who has taken up the Treasurer position for a fifth and final term.
