Congratulations Patricia!

During the IAPA AGM, the membership appointed a new Chairperson, Patricia Brunner, Munichaupair, Germany. Patricia was first elected as board member during the AGM in Miami in 2010 and has actively supported the association in the last 3 years.

Quality Workshop 2013 – Italy

TIAPA endorsed 2013 Quality Campaign workshop in Rome, Italy, at the Hotel Sheraton Roma. Eleven Italian agencies participated and agreed on moving together towards the creation of the Italian National Au Pair Association.

A certificate for longstanding member was given at the IAPA attending the AGM in Rome. Congratulations!

Arrivederci Roma! The location for the next WETM-IAC was announced during the Networking Dinner in Rome by Sandra Landau, the Childcare International: “London has consistently been one of the top destinations for young people looking to work abroad and a city which receives hundreds of Au pairs from the EU each year.”

Au Pair of the Year – Femke Meyer

Femke Meyer, 19 years old from Germany, was presented the award during the WETM-IAC Welcome Reception. Femke was au pair in New Zealand and her sending and receiving agencies (AIFS Germany and Au Pair LInk) took part at the celebration. Femke’s talented musician and gave a great performance at the event.

The Dan Burnet Scholarship Fund

In remembering the longstanding and incredible work Dan Burnet did for the expansion and improvement of Youth Travel, WYSE Travel Confederation together with ATEC have created The Dan Burnet Scholarship Fund.
